It offers the opportunity to engage in one-on-one Spanish lessons with Palestinian students while also learning Arabic from one of our qualified instructors.
The Volunteer to Teach Spanish ONLINE to Palestinians program is designed for individuals who wish to teach Spanish and build connections within the Palestinian community. You can use various video chat platforms such as Skype, WhatsApp, Google Meet, ZOOM, and others to facilitate these online lessons and foster meaningful interactions.

What is included in the ONLINE Teaching Program?
The “Volunteer to Teach Spanish ONLINE to Palestinians” program encompasses the teaching of conversational Spanish to individual Palestinian children (ages 6-12), adults, and community members. Your focus will be on enhancing conversational language skills, addressing various situations, answering questions, and imparting crucial vocabulary required for specific subjects.

What is the duration for teaching Spanish ONLINE?
Volunteers in our program have the flexibility to engage for a minimum of two weeks. Regardless of the time frame you select, we are committed to providing support to ensure a rewarding and distinctive teaching experience. You have the option to teach Spanish to our students once, twice, or more a week, based on your preference, with each class lasting approximately two hours.

Who qualifies for enrollment in the Teach Spanish in Palestine Program?
The Palestinian Center has welcomed individuals from various countries, including the USA, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Colombia, France, Japan, China, Chile, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, and many more.
As the program emphasizes the conversational aspect of the language, it is suitable for both those with and without prior teaching experience. The key requirements are proficient Spanish-speaking skills and effective management abilities. The center invites individuals aged 18 to 70 to apply for the Teach Spanish & Learn Arabic ONLINE program, without the necessity of academic or professional degrees.
When is the opportunity to teach Spanish ONLINE to Palestinians?
Our program operates throughout the year. Volunteers and interns have the flexibility to choose their availability for participation, and we are accommodating with both start and end dates.
Teaching Material
This program is designed to feel more like a friendly conversation than a traditional Spanish class. Your role is to help Palestinians improve their speaking skills by engaging in meaningful and interesting discussions. We will provide all the necessary teaching materials for every level.
Is knowledge of Arabic required during the ONLINE classes?
No, volunteers are not required to be fluent in Arabic. The students you’ll be teaching are at an intermediate or advanced level, so proficiency in Arabic is not obligatory.
